Meet Panther!
Panther is a 5-month-old, 15-pound, female, Terrier mix who came to us from our rescue partner in Georgia. Panther was found as a stray with an injury to her right rear leg that will require a Femoral Head Ostectomy (FHO) surgery to repair. Her surgery is complete and once healed, she will then be scheduled for her spay, and then she will finally be ready for adoption! In the meantime, we will be taking applications on her. She is young and will rebound quickly!
We are thankful that Panther is with our medical foster home and is learning good house manners and social skills while recuperating. Panther enjoys the company of kids, other dogs and wants to play with and chase the cat in the house. She can be a bit timid when walking on a leash but is getting better. She does great in a crate and is making great progress with housetraining. Once she is done playing with her toys and her friend Butterball, she loves to snuggle with her person on the couch.
