We’re thrilled to share that Oreo, now known as Rhett Alexander (or Rhey), has quickly found his perfect forever home!
The nurse who assisted our Orthopedic surgeon with his amputation fell in love with him. Like many PWD pups, they have to suffer life changing injuries to finally land in a safe and loving home.
We recently received an adoption update from his new fur mom:
"Rhey is now part of a wonderful pack and is fitting in beautifully. He’s been the perfect addition to our home – it’s as if he’s been there all along! Rhey has already formed a strong bond with Army, his new sibling, and even won over Athena, the family cat. His speed, agility, and intelligence continue to surprise me. We are excited to learn more about him, planning to get him DNA tested soon.
Not to mention, Rhey is the sweetest boy, with his German Shepherd big brother setting a great example for him.”
We couldn’t be happier for Rhey and his new family, and we know he’ll continue to thrive in a home filled with love and care!
Once again we would like to thank Jess Wall for fostering Oreo
