Indy has been adopted!
After a few months of intensive care and recovery, Indy’s jaw was successfully repaired, and in between her dental work, she was also spayed. Through it all, her amazing foster mom, Jess was by her side every step of the way—we’re so grateful for the love, care, and commitment she gave during Indy’s recovery.
Now, Indy is a happy, healthy, playful pup who’s found her forever person!
Indy definitely needed someone just as much as someone needed her—and now they’ve found each other. We receive a great update from her new fur mom:
“There was something about Indy’s profile and picture that drew me to her. I kept going back to her profile and looking at her sweet picture. I had been without a dog for 2 1/2 years and my heart was aching for another one. There was a void that nothing else could fill.
It has been about 2 weeks now, and I am in love! Indy is such a sweet girl! She loves belly rubs, things to chew on, Kongs filled with peanut butter, giving kisses, and, of course, sticking by my side. I didn’t know how much I needed her until she was here. It’s amazing how a dog can walk into your life and instantly feel like they’ve always belonged.
She has brought so much joy, comfort, and love into my world in such a short amount. She has filled that void, and we have a special bond already. I love her to pieces! Thank you PWD!”
Congratulations to Indy and her Mom and another heartfelt THANK YOU to Jess our one and only medical foster who continues to help so many pets in need.
