helping others find the joy in sharing a life with a dog with a
disability. Please be patient if your request is not
answered immediately - as volunteers, they never know when life
takes them away from their email!
ADOPTION INFORMATION:
The first step in the adoption process is the
ADOPTION
APPLICATION,
please include
a few pictures of your home when you email us your application.
RELINQUISHMENT AND FOSTER
APPLICATION:
- If you are a shelter looking
for support to transfer a dog to PWD - please complete this
INTAKE FORM and email to
petswithdisabilities@comcast.net
- If you are an individual
needing to rehome your dog - please complete this
RELINQUISHMENT FORM. Please NOTE - we rarely take
dogs out of a home environment - and will only consider local
dogs - you are always welcome to use our courtesy list (see
below)
- If you are interested in being
a foster home for PWD - or for just a specific dog on the site -
please complete this

WHEELCHAIR SUPPORT:
If you have a wheelchair you
would like to donate to rescue OR you need a wheelchair for your
dog, please contact:

LISTINGS:

will be posted for 4 months
Your request MUST include:
- ONE GOOD photo with PET'S NAME
- the age, weight, gender, and
spay/neuter status
- the dogs location and your
contact information
- a BIO - length is not
important - but it will be posted as written - we suggest it
includes:
- Does it get along with dogs?
cats? kids? -
- Type of play
- amount of activity required to
keep them happy
- their good qualities
- why it needs a new home
